During fall in the Matapédia region, time stands still ... while everyone goes hunting! For several weeks, you can see many a moose in the back of pickup trucks... Come and collect your own trophy in one of the region's wildlife reserve or ZEC. |
Autumn is also quad season, commonly known as ATV or four-wheeler. The Matapédia region is known for its wide range of marked trails and stunning vistas. The cottage is located near one of these trails. Do not miss the Festival Quad Matapédien September 4-6, 2015. |
It's also harvest time, and several local producers can sell you their products directly. A public market is held every Sunday in Amqui, July 3 to October 9. |
